Recipes



HCG Recipes: (keep track of your calories)................

Breaded Talapia or Chicken
- Rub meat with lemon juice - Crunch up Melba toast and mix with seasonings of choice - Coat meat with mixture and bake or grill.


Bun less Burgers-
-Grill chicken or beef patties and season to taste. -Layer between 2 lettuce leafs - add grilled sweet onions and tomatoes


Meat Kabobs-
-100 grams of meat of choice -1 sweet onion -1/4 cup of dressing -1 tsp Seasoning cut meat into cubes. Cut onion into small wedges. Combine seasoning and dressing and marinate with meat and onions for 4 hours. Place on metal skewers and grill.


Orange Ginger Chicken-
- 100g chicken – cut into chunks - black pepper - orange – cut in 1/4s - 2-3 cloves minced garlic - 1/2 t basil - 1 T fresh ginger root (about 1/2"-1" long piece, peeled & minced) - juice of half lemon

1. Preheat pan over MED heat.2. Sprinkle chicken with pepper. 3. Add chicken to pan and stir fry until brown on all sides, about 5-10 mins. 4. Add garlic and cook for 1 min. 5. Squeeze juice of orange quarters over chicken. 6. Peel & separate orange into sections. Add orange sections, ginger, lemon juice, and basil. Stir well. 7. Cover and simmer for about 20-30 mins.

HCG Mixture-Yummy!
- 3.52 oz of ground chicken - 2-3 cans of organic stewed tomatoes (or crushed tomatoes if you can’t find stewed – tomatoes that don’t have sugar or corn starch in it) - 3-4 garlic cloves, crushed - Season with parsley, cumin, basil, rosemary, salt, red pepper flakes. Brown chicken with seasonings and then add tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes.


Slow Cooker Roast-
-1 very lean roast (trim extra fat) - 1 whole onion chopped - 1 whole stalk of chopped celery - ½ cup of water -salt & pepper, minced garlic, spice blend. *Place all ingredients in crock pot and cook on low for 8-12 hours . This is so yummy by itself, rolled into lettuce wraps or atop a bed of shredded lettuce!


Garlic Chicken-
- 100g chicken400g chicken – 4 servings - diced onion - 3-5 cloves garlic – unpeeled & left whole - juice of half lemon - - black pepper to taste


1. Preheat oven to 350.2. Heat non-stick saucepan over MED. 3. Add the onion. Stir constantly until tender. 5-10 mins.4. Transfer onions to glass baking dish. 5. Place chicken atop onions. 6. Squeeze on lemon juice & sprinkle with pepper.7. Place garlic around and on the chicken. 8. Cover tightly either with lid or aluminum foil.9. Cook for 30-45 mins or until chicken is no longer pink.

Taco Salad-
-2 cups of chopped romaine lettuce -100 grams of lean ground beef -½ tsp garlic salt -¼ tsp of chili seasoning - crunched up Melba toast *Saute ground beef and spices. Sprinkle on top of lettuce and top with crumble Melba toast. add tomato's and Walden farms thousand island dressing.


Chicken Vegetable Soup!
- 6 cups of chicken broth base - 3 100 grams of cooked chopped chicken - 3 stalks of chopped celery - 1 whole sweet onion chopped - 2 handfuls of chopped cabbage - 2 medium sized chopped tomatoes (optional) combine and bring to a boil. Turn heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetable are tender adding cabbage for the last 10 minutes.

Chinese Chicken (or other meat)
- cubed meat 100 grams (chicken or shrimp) - 5 Tbsp of chicken Broth - Cabbage - Dash of onion salt, Chinese 5 spice, salt & pepper - 1 minced clove of garlic - ½ packet of stevia •Shred cabbage. Saute minced garlic in 1 Tbsp of bouillon base. Add 2 Tbsp of base and cabbage over medium heat. Remove while still crunchy. Combine 2 Tbsp of bouillon base, onion salt, Chinese 5 spice and stevia. Pour into pan with cubed meat. Stir fry this mixture. Throw cabbage back in for 1-2 minutes until heated.


Shake and Bake Chicken or Fish-
- chicken breast or Fish fillet - dash of salt & pepper, thyme, rosemary - 1 packet of stevia *combine all ingredients inside a bag and shake well. Grill till done.


Spicy Baked Chicken-
- chicken breasts - 1 onion cut up - 2 cloves of garlic - Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning *Season Chicken and place into baking pan. Place onions and garlic on top. Cover with foil and bake 35 minutes at 375’


Tomato Basil Chicken-
-1 chicken breast cubed - 1 cup chopped tomatoes - ¼ cup of water - 2 Tbsp. of lemon juice - 2 Tbsp. of chopped onion - 2 garlic clove minced - 3 fresh basil leaves sliced -- ¼ tsp. oregano, garlic powder, onion powder salt, pepper, and cayenne to taste.lightly brown chicken in saucepan with lemon juice. Add garlic, onion, spices and water. After chicken is cooked add fresh tomatoes and basil. Cook for additional 10 minutes. Add salt& pepper. * 1 serving


Chili-
-1 lb. of lean ground beef -3 cups of chopped tomatoes -1 ½ cups of water -½ cup of chopped onion -4 garlic cloves minced -tsp of garlic powder -tsp of onion powder -tsp of chili powder -½ tsp of oregano -cayenne pepper to taste - -salt & pepper to taste
brown beef with onions and garlic. Stir in tomatoes and water. Add spices and simmer. Top with chopped green onion
3 servings


Cajun Chicken-
- 2 chicken breasts - a dash of salt & pepper, onion powder, garlic powder - 2 tsp of water. Rub spice mixture into chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour. Grill.

Ground Meat Mix-
-Brown 1 lb. ground meat of choice (chicken, turkey, or beef) with seasonings of choice (salt, pepper, garlic, onion salt, spice blend) - add 1/2 chopped sweet onion - add chopped stalk of green onions - add diced tomatoes (about 4 roma size)Add this mix to iceberg lettuce to make lettuce wraps or sprinkle on top of chopped lettuce for salad.


Cocktail Sauce!
1 10 oz can tomato sauce of your choice (low in sugar an salt and organic if you can find it)
2 tablespoons onion powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt to your taste
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 tablespoon vinegar to taste
2-3 packets of stevia sweetener
1 teaspoon horseradish to your taste
Mix together and ENJOY dipping those shrimp!

Steamed Cabbage
Head of cabbage cleaned and drained
Sea salt to taste
Juice of 1 organic lemon Steam cabbage for until tender (10-15 minutes). Toss with lemon juice and serve and ENJOY!

Strawberry Crush
4 large strawberries Crushed iceStevia to taste Water Blend strawberries, Stevia, crushed ice and water. You Can add a squeeze of real lemon juice for a tart strawberry taste.

Shrimp Scampi
3.5 ounces of Shrimp (peel shell off, weight out 3.5 ounces before cooking)1/4 Tsp minced Garlic3 Tbsp Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice Dash of onion powder, garlic, salt and pepper to taste1/4 Cup Vegetable Broth or Water (broth gives it more flavor)
In saucepan saute minced garlic in the lemon juice and vegetable broth. Add dry ingredients. Add shrimp and cook till pink or 5-7 minutes.

Grilled Asparagus
Asparagus Spears Salt & Pepper Sweet Basil
Cut ends of Asparagus, season. On George Foreman grill, grill Asparagus till desired cooked.

Grilled Chicken Salad
3.5 ounces of Chicken Breast 1/4 tsp Garlic Dash of Sweet Basil Dash of Thyme Dash of Onion Powder Dash of Salt & Pepper to taste Spinach
Season both sides of Chicken Breast with seasoning above. On Gorge Foreman grill chicken for 3-4 minutes (depending on thickness of chicken but do cook till done)
While that is cooking prep Spinach. Rinse and dry, place in bowl.
Once Chicken is done but into cubes on a plate. Scrape juice and cubes into bowel of spinach. The natural juice from the chicken should be enough to not need any dressing.

Chicken Wrap
3.5 Ounces Chicken Breast Dash of salt, pepper and garlic powder1/2 cup onion1/2 cup diced tomato 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro 1 head lettuce
Season chicken breast with salt, pepper and garlic powder on Gorge Foreman grill. Once done (3 to 4 minutes) cut into strips or shred. Saute onions in a separate pan using small dab of organic coconut oil. Clean lettuce and pat dry. Place chicken breast on lettuce, add onions and tomatoes and wrap.
You can add additional shredded lettuce

Brazilian Shrimp
Olive Oil non stick spray 1/2 cup fresh lime juice1 small onion minced 2 tsp minced cilantro 1 clove garlic minced 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1 1/4 lbs shrimp, peeled and divined
Preheat broiler. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil. Spritz pan with Olive Oil spray. In bowl combine lime juice, onion, cilantro, garlic, salt and pepper. Set aside
Place shrimp on baking sheet and spritz with olive oil spray. Broil shrimp about 4″ away from heat each side 1 1/2 minutes
When done combine in bowl toss and serve
**This makes 4 servings so before cooking your shrimp, measure out 100 grams for you serving to get a visual on how many.

Ground Beef Tacos
3.5 ounces of lean ground beef Lettuce leaves 1 tablespoon finely minced onion 1 clove crushed and minced garlic Dash of garlic powder Dash of onion powder Dash of dried oregano Fresh chopped cilantro to taste Cayenne pepper to taste Salt and black pepper to taste
Brown ground beef. Add onion, garlic, and spices and a little water and simmer gently for 5-10 minutes. Add salt to taste.
Serve taco style in butter lettuce or romaine leaf mock tortillas or with a side of tomatoes or salsa.

Lemon Oregano Whitefish Packet w/ Asparagus
3.5 ounces whitefish 3.5 ounces Asparagus juice from one lemon 1 tsp oregano Dash of Salt/pepper Preheat the oven to 400F.Snap off woody ends of asparagus and discard. Tear off a large sheet of non-stick aluminum foil. In the center of this sheet, place asparagus spears and sprinkle with salt/pepper. Place whitefish on top of asparagus. In small bowl, combine lemon juice & oregano, and pour over fish. Fold up edges and completely seal packet on all sides. Bake 10-20 minutes, until fish flakes.
Serve

Stir Fry Spinach
3.5 ounces of fresh spinach Salt and Pepper to taste
In small pan spray a little olive oil, add spinach with salt and pepper. Serve

Meatloaf
3.5 Ounces Ground beef (lean) for each serving 1 Serving Melba toast crumbs 1 Ketchup recipe 1 Tbsp chopped onion 1 clove minced garlic Cayenne to taste 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Crush Melba toast into fine powder. Mix with the ground beef, chopped onion and spices. Place in a baking dish, loaf pan or muffin tin for single servings. Baste with ketchup recipe mixture made from tomato sauce and stevia and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Cook longer for multiple servings using a loaf pan

HCG Diet Cooking Tips
.
Apple Sauce can be used in place of fat when converting a non HCG diet recipes that call for oils or butter. You will have to count the calories. It will be important to use no sugar added or sugar free apple sauce.
Melba Toast is excellent for breadcrumbs
A spritz of Extra Virgin Olive Oil spray can be used in lieu of Organic Coconut Oil
Anytime you use a juice, orange, apple, lemon, etc, make sure you are counting the calories.

Shiritaki Noodle This is an option that some of my clients have been using as well it is a noodle that is made of the unrefined yam flour from the konnyaku imo tuber. It is zero to ten calories depending on your serving size which would tell you on the package. You Can find the Shiritaki Noodle at most of your local Chinese Markets.

The Miracle Noodle is another good noodle that you could get away with every once in a while on the diet as well as making it part of your maintenance program when you are at your goal weight. Here are the nutrition facts.
